The shape of the helicopter is based on how bad guy technology was designed in the 80s. It was usually shaped and designed in these odd almost alien ways.

And Warrick's behaviour is even inspired by how 80s heroes used to act which is relevant because looking at it now as an adult, I can see that it is problematic because he is essentially kicking his opponents while they are down.
