I was playing Super Smash Brother's Brawl yesterday with some friend and I must say it is an extreamly good party game. Metaknight is easily my new favorite character despite he weak attack power. I didn't get a chance to unlock Sonic or Snake yet but the Metal Gear level was quite fun to play in. The stages have been dramatically improved and new options like making your own stages is an extreamly nice touch. I think the game has a respectable level of characters and enough options to keep me playing for a looooooong time. Another nice touch is that adventure mode is actually respectable this time with better game play and some fun cut scenes to boot. I hope this gets Nintendo to open up future installment to more 3rd Party Characters 'cause there are only so many Pokemon characters I can take in one game. I for one cannot wait to unlock both sonic and more importantly Solid Snake. I'm currious to see if Nintendo will offer and additional content for download as time goes on. I'm certainly willing to part with a few hard earned dollars if they put up some cool new characters (particulary if that add someone like Simon Belmont from Castlevania) to download into the game or for that matter even some well crafted adventure levels.

Just an FYI though, Brawl is on a dual layered DVD that some Wii's have trouble reading. If your Wii can't play the disk you'll have to send it back to Nintedo to be fixed. It is free of charge but it doesn't take some time, since more and more games are probably going to be on dual layered DVD's I wouldn't let this stop you from picking up that game however as you'll probably want your Wii fixed sooner rather then later.
