Now I normally do not like to talk about Platnium Studio's because, well I don't want people to disregard my opinion just because I work with them and I promise not to make this a regular thing but I've noticed there have been a lot of anti-PS rants so I thought I would just speak up and give my view point based on my experiences so far with them. So far PS has been pretty good to me, giving me a break when a lot of other companies have just passed us up. PS has problems, no denying that, and I've certainly felt the negative effects of some of those problems just like a lot of others but the people I've worked with at PS just seem to be comic geeks who got into business a lot more 'cause they liked comics then because they wanted to build a billion dollar business (not that anyone would mind that if it happened). I've worked with a lot of good people who are trying really hard to hold everything together. Now, they're a business and they're out to make money of course, but so far they've been more than willing to make money for both of us and cut us a lot of slack. A while ago I talked to them about Cwen's Quest and rather than BS me they told me honestly that they couldn't really invest in CQ the way I wanted at the moment and were probably not picking up new titles for a while, rather than yanking me around, giving me an insulting pennies on the dollar offer for Cwen or buying it and then sitting on it. I'm not saying get in line and worship PS, but I am saying this is the other side of the story and everyone should think about what is best for them and their situation before you decide on things regarding any company or partnership. I've seen a lot of people burn bridges and jump on bandwagons with surprising enthusiasm lately in an industry built on trust and networking as much as contracts and cash.
