Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. Looking around it looks like it has been kind of crazy for a lot of people here on DD from the rants so I'll try and take it down a notch and talk about something else at least until I get the nasty little things hacked out of my head and then all bets are off.

I'm getting back into hiking lately. All my friends have been working overtime on desk jobs after years of manual labor so we've decided to try get together and do a little more physical activity. I'm not really into nature, in fact I hate nature and nature hates me. We try to kill each other every chance get and it is only with the aid of powerful drugs that I can resist nature's terror. However despite these feels I love hiking in the woods.

I am forunate enough to live almost litterally across the street from a huge park system so it seems life if I'm not going to burn it down I might as well hike in it. Alas the moment I let my guard down the park tried to kill me, for if you ever see a sign that says Buckeye Trail 2.3 mile know that it is a filthy liar and the Buckeye Trail is a giant freaking loop around the whole state that will take you hours away from civilization and your car!

Still I got to see a dried up canal complete with a lock system as it was very inspiring. I plan to return soon a take picture for future reference in some of my comics, though next time rather then stick to some god awful train I'm getting a map and headed out try and find the abandoned quary somewhere in the park. I think that should be a lot of fun…assuming it too doesn't try to kill me.
