Chapter 3 Page 5 - No Short Cuts

What was left of the hurricanes that wrecked the southern US recently blew through my part of the world and left me without power. It was almost like a Godzilla attacks with power lines exploding and trees cracking in half in clear view from our house. In any case I'll be staying with relatives for a few days until things get cleaned up so if we don't get back to a few people in the next few days that is why.

I hope they get the power on soon or all our food in the fridge is going to go bad and we'll be on the all ramen diet for a few weeks. We're going over with a cooler and ice to save what we can tomorrow if the power is still out. Still all in all we got off pretty easy compared to people actually hit by the full force hurricanes.

I hope all my friends here at DD also got off light too.
