I just started playing D&D again this weekend. I really missed it. I used to play MTG and roll playing games all the time but with the lay offs at my work and people moving away to college or new jobs most of my regular gamers all went seperate ways. Now I know I could start playing online but I don't enjoy that much. To me these games are as much about hanging out with friends and laughing at our mistakes. You just don't get that online, they are a different experience all together.

I hope this means we'll start playing semi-regularly again. It is not only good for the creative juices but a lot fun. I've tried online Forum RPs, Chat RPS, MMORPGs and while each is fun I always prefer table top when I can get it.

I'm playing a Psion right now and enjoying it. We're sort of doing a dungeon grind adventure so honestly the character hasn't developed terribly much but I'm hoping future adventures will let me develop the character a little more.
