Geeze I just read today they are making a live action Cowboy Bebop movie for 2011. After the horror that was DBZ you think they would have learned their lesson but noooooooo. Guess who they cast as Spike. Go on guess. Keanu FRICKING Reeves. I'm sorry but for me this dooms the whole project. No way can Keanu pull of spike. The roll is almost tailor made for a Johnny Depp or Robert Downy Jr type. If they really think Keanu can capture Spike's devil may care/demon from my past attitude then to me it says whomever is behind this movie doesn't really get Cowboy Bebop. Grrrrr.

Oh and the DD 2009 Awards are off and, going I guess. They kind of started with a whimper this year rather than a bang so you might not have really heard. Anyway I'm not going to beat you over the head with this but I'd like to win at pretty much everything I do so if anyone is motivated enough to copy and paste Cwen's Quest into a few categories that would certainly help me out a bit. Since there are a lot of categories I’m going to suggest all Cwen fans try voting for Cwen in the Adventure category to maximize Cwen’s chance of winning. Plus honestly that is the category I personally feel Cwen most fits in but hey I’ll take any award I can get outside of the adult only categories. I certainly don't want to be the only web comic artist in my marriage who didn't win a DD award. ;)
