Chapter 6 Zergarem's Story IV - So anyway........

Zergarem is one of those characters I never had a clear plan for. In the original draft of chapter 3 the outline I wrote simply indicated the Witch Queen would make some sort of champion. I made up all the details from his oddball design to his verbal tick on the spot when I came to his pages and then refined/expanded them in the editing stage. Once I established he was intelligent I liked the idea of him surrending to Essex rather then fighting to the death, I didn't have time to have him die in the fight with team Vorg and so now here is a deputy sheriff in the Witch Kingdom. All in all I'm pretty happy with where the character ended up and I'll be just as surprised as anyone else the next time Zergarem shows up in the story.
