Riddly, where did you get your coat? -Neila

Well Neila that is a funny story….well okay it isn’t very funny but I’ll try and make it funny. You see way back in the day I got a jacket I thought I was bad ass. I had just got a new hair cut and I was going for a whole thing. It was sort of a Billy Idol meets Valroth the Impaler. In retrospect I guess I was kind of rebelling against my dad. Anyway my sister didn’t much care for the looking I was trying to get going. She said that wouldn’t have even been cool in dimensions where Billy Idol actually existed and that if Valroth every found I was taking his style I’d be sporting the freshly impaled look. So longs story short she magiced the coat for me under the theory that this was more of a look I could pull off and still tick off my dad ‘cause she was upsetting father just as much as I was at that point. I never got to find out what he thought of my look but it would have been all like “You look like a damn idiot, which is fitting ‘cause you act like one too but please son TRY not to wear it on your sleeve.” Or something like that except he would have probably found a way to link this around to blame it on my mother rather than me. You know like a “You had him for nine and half months, what the heck happened in there that made him turn out like this.” Yea that was totally the way dad sounded. Heh.

Anyway I didn’t wear it for a long time, I didn’t really appreciate it at first but later on I realized she was right and now it is kind of a nice reminder of home. The coat incidentally has come in really handy. It is kind of chilly around here truth be told.
