Chapter 10 Prolog -5: Mistakes were made, people were eaten

I plan to talk about each of the guest characters in turn but lets start with Jenka and her bear Faust. I dear say I rather made a mistake in casting this many guest together because it quickly became impossible to give each character their due without them taking over the chapter so I don't think I'll be trying anything like that again. Jenka's Jaggermonster accent was so fun to write I had to toss out pages of text of her speaking but I kept this page because I wanted her to still get so speak a little bit.

It is hard to pick a favorite character from Girl Genius as each one is a gem but Jenka stood out as she is both mysterious and cool. I don't know what her deal in the story is but I'm anxious to find out! What does she look like under that scarf? Whom does she take orders from? What is her interested in the main characters? Jenka is an enigma wrapped in awesome. Unlike some dull lost character over used Jenka has appeared rarely but each time to great effect. In some ways she is comparable to the mysterious stranger in an old west story. She blows into town, seems to know more then the main characters and twice as competent but all she'll give you is a smile and tip of the hat until the tip suits her to step forward. The reader and me in particular are always left wanting and to top it all off she a fun accent and an awesome hat.
