Urg. I'm siiiiiiiiiick today. X_X

Anyway I saw from the commentary people asking about the sword. For this interested I simply asked for a creepy organic sword and threw out Nightmare from Soul Caliber as an example but felt any details to Sarah's imagination. Any similarities to CoH I think are strickly coincidental.

As for Revenka being like Flagoon a magic tree from slayers I'd have to say I was more inspired by the magic staff in town from Quest for Glory III. I played Quest for Glory IV: Shadows of Darkness a lot as kid and really enjoyed it despite my copy being unwinable due to a bug I didn't have the patch for. It is a shame because from all account Quest for Glory III was probably one of the lesser games in the series but regardless I really, really enjoyed and it was very influential on me as a child as was the first game to hit me with a lot of populat tropes so everything seemed highly imaginative and creative to me when I was playing it blissfully unaware that some if not most of the elements such as the H.P. Lovecraft style cult in the game were old hat.
