Alright well it is looks like DD has been (wisely) rolled back until they can get something together that won't have these same problems. Personally I think if they are scrapping DD's code for something all new they should just do a whole new reluach like was done when Keen Space became Comic Genesis. I like DD but it's name doesn't have the positive rep it once did and actually putting the world "Comic" in the title would probably help DD grow by allowing people to find when searching easier. We'll just have to see what happens.
