If you are wondering why she isn't magically healed there are two reasons. First, magic healing isn't easy. Most magic doesn't operate on autopilot in the CQ universe. (The fact that the Witch Queen's spells do is one of the reason her magic is particularly powerful but that is for another time.) So to heal someone a mage must have a deep understand of both the nature of the injury and what must be done to set it right. The other reason though is Mia was the one who healed Kyrenri and she didn't do as good a job as she could just patching Kyrenri up enough that she can heal on her own and Mia was probably tempted to just let Kyrenri bleed out.
