Chp. 3, Page 3: "Touch"

There had been an original drawn version of both the first and second chapters (much shorter versions, actually) and up to about the seventh page in the third chapter, that were done in Sharpie marker on typing paper. The third-chapter pages were done in the few months before I got the publication offer (August, 2007) and rushed to redraw everything (as well as come up with a cover, all the extra interior work, and the graphic design) for the print deadline (March 1, 2008.) With all the earlier pages, I felt I pretty solidly managed to improve on all the earlier version (much of which was drawn while I was still in high school.) However, with the later pages, it was actually sorta hit-or-miss from panel to panel, and I was very glad when I surpassed the mark where I'd left off, before.

This, however, is a page that I decidedly improved on. I'm quite ashamed of the first version.
