Dncelyn and Amy escape from the Balloon just in time.

However, Dncelyn finds herself in a sort of dream (later finding out it was real) and meets the deceased Dumblednc in what appears to be a deserted German Congressional Building. Here, it is explained she cannot be killed by the Magic Hot Air Balloon whilst it lives, since the Balloon used Dncelyn's blood to recreate its body. Also, the mental barrier's protection over Dncelyn binds the two and therefore tethers Dncelyn to life. She appears to be in a Limbo state in which she can speak to Dumblednc.
