Ask a Transporter: ER Physicians 4

Panel 2 stems from a conversation I overheard where a surgeon was giving an ER doc a dressing down for ordering a CT to diagnose appendicitis. The CT required 64 oz of oral contrast, which put the patient at risk for aspiration during surgery, which the patient needed because they had appendicitis, which anyone but an ER doc could have diagnosed without a CT. Oi what a headache!
