Happy Friday, everybody.

This was supposed to be one of five panels, but I decided to make it full-page. I think it shows Danielle in all her frightening glory.

It’s been a while since I’ve shown this, but certain types of demons in Danielle’s world instantly decompose when killed. This fellow will be nothing but dust in a matter of seconds.

    A common characteristic of vampires in many stories. Depending on how old they are.

      Danielle is around 175 years old. I don't have any backstory for the demon she has just killed, so I don't know his age. Maybe I should have had him wearing a red shirt, like the nameless and hapless extras on Star Trek. :)

    First thought was that this attacker was actually a zombie to start with or maybe became a zombie after getting stabbed, then I read the author's note to realize this guy is a demon in human morph.

      He was the demon that Danielle smelled seven or eight pages ago. While Danielle will only kill a mortal if no other option is available, she has no issue with dispatching demons, or other supernatural types.
