Will-o'-wisps are intelligent beings composed of pure light of no fixed forms. They often hold conventions to outdo each other in body art, taking forms they deem pleasing to the eye.
travelers often seek these art committees out, but sadly many are claimed by the swamps over which the will-o'-wisps hold them.
After particularly spectacular accidental deaths, the art of the Will-o'-wisps turns to aping the recently deceased. No-one ever said that they were nice.
