The crypts of the Illidean royal family, A line stretching back beyond human memory, are as expansive as they are forbidden. Row upon row of Honoured ancestors, interred in their finery, stretch through a vast, ever expanding subterranean necropolis. Legend has it that should a thief be skilled and unwise enough to sneak into the crypt with a view to desecrate will awaken its immortal guardian.
The regal Spectre, thought to be the spirit of the line's ancestral patriarch, is said to rise up from the dark stones and rend the very souls of the interlopers.
Oddly enough, thieves very seldom attempt to rob the crypt.
