Vitriolic Globules are bizarre creatures, formed out of some viscous, intensely acidic substance, with their internal organs clearly visible from without. barring their eyes and brains, they are essentially entirely composed of stomach, and can devour almost anything, given time. They never seem to break down over time, but simply shrink away if not fed. This means that if fed regularly, they can be kept effectively indefinitely, making them perfect long-term guardians. Many tomb robbers have ended their careers in the warm, acidic embrace of an unexpected Vitriolic globule.
