Wraiths are the spirits of those who have died, but for some reason or other, generally due to dying horribly, do not move on to the next life, above or below. Every so often someone becomes a wraith for no readily discernable reason, unmarred by trauma or malice, and as such are not particularly bitter about their condition. These wraiths roam far and wide, reveling in their discorporate freedom, seeking out amusement, and laughing as they go. Despite their humourous outlook, they are still an extremely terrifying sight to behold, and thus many a passerby has soiled their undergarments before realising that the wraiths mean no harm.
