Leiko's been sick for the last few days, so I decided to give you guys a little back story about the comic.
I actually began writing the comic about 6 years ago and even tried drawing it myself.
Each page took me anywhere from 2 weeks to a month to complete.
I got 5 pages in before I decided that I didn't have the time, patience, or (in my mind at least) the talent to keep working on it.
In 2012, I think it was Leiko's idea, but we decided to begin collaborating. She had seen the earlier pages and was intrigued by the story. I had told her how bad I hated trying to draw since I was never really satisfied with the result.
Luckily, her penchant for drawing a lot of pen and ink matched with the style I was wanting for the comic. So here we are 3 years later with more than 100 images uploaded.
Here are the 2 versions of Issue 1, Page 2. Mine is on the left, hers is on the right.
