Who says that tough chicks can't feel any emotion? She's still a woman last I checked, and we can be emotional at times, especially through something like this. I would think that it would be more out of character for her to not feel anything for the loss of her child. It's just motherly compassion guys. Moms often blame themselves when they aren't able to support a child properly. I've witnessed this sort of thing in my life before and it's just a realistic response to a realistic situation :p.
