Odd thing cliffhangers are… You think one thing's gonna happen, and instead, it's something else. Something that you least expect. I guess that's the whole point of a cliffhanger…

Anyway, the heroes have escaped and have now confronted Eggman, all thanks to events that happened in D.P.S. #12 and #16.

BTW, yes, I suck at drawing back poses. So sue me. (Word of advice: don't.)

USELESS NOTE: The beta version of this issue (IOW, the skecthed version) had different dialogue from the final version. I do that a lot when I make my comics.
