Now Saturno is protected from UV light. That was quick. Shoulda just found some sunscreen.

I think the idea behind this was these monsters have very unstable DNA(because they can change their shape so easily), so they are more in danger of UV radiation messing up their DNA and thus messing up their necissary organs.

It's a little different than vampires. They will probably turn to goo more than dust…

Or maybe it's like the water that killed the witch in Wizard of OZ.
