Saturno COULD have saved manny, but who wants to share a body with a smelly man eater?

Cheeko asks: "1. Assimilate? What does that mean for demons? Do they join together into one body?"

If a monster eats another alive the monster eaten alive does not die. The monsters become a two headed or two brained monster. (This happened in chapter 1 with Saturno's blob siblings.) There can be several brains within a body. Sometimes each brain controls a part of the body or in most cases, the minds struggle for complete control of the body. Saturno does not want that so s/he kills every monster before s/he eats them.

"2. If Saturno is deaf, how does s/he communicate with other demons?"
The monsters usually communicate through psychic signals. (That is why the dialogue bubbles are black. If there will be sound the bubbles will be the normal kind.) There are other ways of giving information as in sharing biological data through touch (I.E. Man Eater getting wings from Saturno) and maybe a few other ways too… Much of this will be better explained in the next two chapters.
