Oh whine whine whine…

Hope this explains why Saturno isn't some massive, uber strong creature right now..
These creatures… they are like balloons. Most creatures in Saturno's world try to appear as large as they can. So they puff themselves out. They might not be as strong as a creature of the same size that doesn't expand themselves ,but if they can look intimidating/big as possible it's less likely predictors will attack them in the first place.
So… you get creatures that eat other creatures and not grow much in size or strength as a result because what they have really eaten was a tiny creature trying to be a large creature.
