Most living things are made of liquid (humans are made up of 55 to 60% water), so I assume physical world demons have some kind of liquid in them too, blood like ours or not. And animals with liquid in them bleed.
One thing that boggles me is the blood is red so does that mean it's made up of oxidized iron like in normal Earth creatures? But that wouldn't make sense! They are from another world! I don't know.. the monster/demons in Blood the Last Vampire bleed red blood and it looked cool so bleeding like crazy it is!

Now here's something too..How can Saturno cry? Well um.. s/he did say s/he was really good at mimicking human facial expressions…
