Alpha is referring a part in chapter 4 The Wasteland. Read it if you need a refresher.

Saturno looks so cute in this page. Such a little teenager. I think Saturno was six years old when s/he was the three-eyed lizard. Grew a lot in seven years yep.

Question reply:

No. Alpha's got little beety eyes in the red part of her neck. More on it later.

My question is what about all the organs and layers below that. have they managed to copy to that level? or is it surface appearance only?"
Vinchi's goal is to copy all the insides of a male human being on himself. Venus studies surfaces and beauty. Nike studies clothing. More on all that later. Now it is far from complete, for instance they are not really male or females so in that sense it's surface.

Anonymous: "But why pick brown? Was it a matter of character design? (at this stage of the comic blue would better portray Saturno's nievaty)or is there some deeper meaning to picking the most banal eye color on earth?"
How do I answer without sounding like a rant…? :S
I think there is a lot of meaning to it, but I can't disclaim it for story's sake. I did not pick blue, because my main character Pepe in my 1st comic The Planet Closest to Heaven has blue eyes. It would be boring if I reuse the same features in a character design. Looking at Saturno, his/her expressive brown eyes on this page..I think s/he looks absolutely adorable. I wouldn't have it any other way.
