It eats it's own children to get energy. It's a never ending cycle of eating! Yet.. for radiation…I have heard that animals can't get enough nutrients from eating only meat eaters. There was an experiment where rats would eat cat meat and cats would eat the rats… it doesn't work out. I say radiation does come but in light amounts and there are tiny particles of creatures that cover the skies and absorb that energy, die and thus become eaten by bigger creatures and then the Motherland…
Note though.. this is a fantasy story there isn't too much hard science fiction in it. I still want it to have an air of mystery as a Hellish demon world.
