They are not human. It is a very human thing to be ashamed of one's own nude body. Adam and Eve and the fruit of knowledge ya know. Venus does wear clothing and so does Nike. Alpha and Vinchi choose not to.

How come Alpha doesn't have a head? Can't say that one for sake of story. Does Alpha have ears? Yes she does. She has dolphin like ears…they are holes in the opening of the neck. So Alpha can hear. The only thing is Alpha can not speak with sounds like humans.
