I love that smug look Saturno gives Venus.

I can't believe that Demon Eater won for best Horror in the DD awards this year. I was keeping a low profile this year cause I won last year, but I guess DE is sticking out enough on it's own. Thank you readers for nominated it. Thank you judges for considering it worthy. And gee I don't think the current story arc is really that scary. Anyway thank you so much. :D

This is really close to being a spoiler…
Some organic matter from the human world works and some does not. Natural demons can't absorb other worldly matter, but adaptations are being made to a few monsters so that they can. The Man Eater had some absorption capabilities and one other in the club. The recipe for the rainbow pasties is a strict secret until next chapter.

All creatures need some kind of internal organs even glob like amoebas. So they do have some kind of organs in them. I think the Man Eater made itself more vulnerable by turning into a flying creature. It couldn't take gunfire as well as it being a blob. It's core might have been injured too and it might have also sustained an injury where it's brain wasn't getting air or nutrients. Or maybe one of the human bones inside it pierced its brain on the impact. Saturno didn't quite do an autopsy so I can't be sure how it died exactly.

It's not too suddenly.. Saturno was being a jerk to Venus since the beginning of chapter 15 Early Sounds. I think bad behavior gets worse if the victim doesn't stand up for herself. Yet right now Venus is in the process of getting her revenge.
