Fortus T. Knight, the Demonic of Power.
Power's symbol roughly displays a bow and shield in human terms, though in hell, the cruved portion is a very powerful sword which Satan himself once used. The circle represents purgatory's watchful eye(most Power Demonics don't have that black circle but Fortus is an exception)

Yes. Believe it or not, Fortus is a demonic. If you recall, in the first chapter he stated that he was half demonic; still means he's got demonic genes. Also, demons can't take on a human form as easily as Fortus can. They have to reshape their entire molecular structure and it can be very painful for weaker classes.
