Anathoth is, by virtue of his race, extremely strong. It gets touched upon later in the comic, but I'll explain just a bit here for laughs: He is not your usual elf, but a Daoulaivian elf. This elf is unique to Acerbus, originally created as a clan of Orcs called the Dowkar. The Dowkar betrayed the dark gods and followed the gods of Light, thus the gods blessed them with beauty and grace. They retain the strength, height, and warlike temperment of the Orcs, but are more graceful and refined.
