Ha, did you think I'd go for hentai here? Nope sorry to disappoint :D

More about the previous scene. When I first envisioned the queen, I also had an idea for some sort of a romantic relationship between her and Din. That idea quickly fell through and at some point I was going to skip the entire polytacular city, but before that the story was heading in slightly different direction. No, I never intended to end up with full sex scenes. See, after meeting Sara, she was supposed to inform Din where to go next, also he was going to discover that he can mask the lenght of his hair (which in case you didn't notice yet, he's doing already by shrinking them and then expanding during fights if necessary) so that he could get on a train leading to the next town… from which he'd venture to the polytacular city. That next town, Ravensrook, might get a book on itself… or not. It'll certainly pop up in some Din Krakatau related story. Anyway. He was going to go to the city and then the idea was that he gets all romantic with the Queen, only to find out that she's going to do nasty stuff to him afterwards, at which point he breaks out from there.

Turned out a little bit different, didn't it? :)

Anyway, this page… One of my fav pages, especially the "WHAP" panel. This was the FIRST time I think where I left space for a sound effect on purpose. Also, didn't feel like drawing Sara there too, haha. Whoops at the screwup though. Notice that the belts that hold Din to the wall are REVERSED on the last three panels. I was more focused on getting the faces and angles right that I messed that up. Oh well…
