Another excuse: I've been polishing off a contribution to an anthology that should get me into the San Diego Comicon for free this year. So, I haven't had as much time to devote to "Dirtheads" lately as I would have liked. Now that's over though, and I hope to keep a better pace in April.

The fate of the "Dirtheads" strips I did for the Kansas City Star is still up in the air. Now that I have been assured that there's no editorial resistance to it, I'm being told that there are three cartoonists whose work they'd like to run in the Thursday entertainment section, me being one of them, but they don't know whether there's enough money in the budget for all of us. Tomorrow I'm supposed to find out for sure. Of course, I'm prepared for another delay or weaselly non-explanation for why they can't just run my strips.
