Chapter 2 -- Issue 5 -- Cover

I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of this cover page. I went through a couple ideas but as I was inking them I would realize they just didn't seem to work for me. The issue does get better though. :)

To explain to hoya999 (and any others interested) why I said I'd be the only one to get the joke (at least fully) is because when I was trying to come up with a look for those two guys I knew I wanted a real weird, loser look for that guy in particular. I tried a couple different hair styles and then I noticed a DVD that my parents had lent me, it was "No Country for Old Men" and I remembered a story about how Javier Bardem said "Oh no, now I won't get laid for the next two months" after seeing his haircut for the film. So it just seemed to fit and the guy's hairstyle became loosely based on that movie (it's also why the second guy ended up sporting a moustache). And that's why I found it funny when you said that it looked like he hadn't seen any action.

Woo, long story.

Locoma – Yeah, I'm looking at ways of changing how I present issue 6. I might post it in chunks, like 4 or 5 pages at the beginning of each month or something.

alejkhan – I looked around my condo and the hockey stick and golf club just made the most sense. My swiffer just wouldn't last.
