I'm at a little mini-conference for June 9th and most of the 10th so I won't be able to post this in the morning myself like I normally do. By the way, I finished inking page 300 on the weekend. Woohoo!

alejkhan – The tide does seem to have turned. Thanks for the idea of the speed lines, I'll have to keep that in mind.

Locoma – What? You don't like Rod?

I am Candyman – I realized early on when I started Divine Leap that I needed some practice in the action/fighting department (among many other areas). I'd always just drawn the static pin up shots of characters so having them be more natural looking whether it was in action or whatever else was not one of my stronger abilities. I'm trying to work on it, making it more fluid and more action-y. A lot of time this involves me looking at myself in the mirror while punching or kicking, or just moving around the living room punching and such… I'm so glad I don't have roommates, they'd have me locked up.
