This is page 6 of Doctor Who: Fade Away by my talented pal and collaborator Paul Hanley (story, colors, and lettering) and myself (pencils and inks). It is our (very fond) farewell to Nicholas Courtney.

It's strange how things work out sometimes. This story was written weeks before the start of Series 6 and the sad loss of the wonderful Lis Sladen. Both events cast a different meaning on the words on this page, but in the end, I decided it was better to leave them as they were. But it does have an eerily different resonance than what I originally intended now (especially panel 4).

Lately we've been asked if we have a story in mind for Sarah Jane. As it happens, we do- but it's not likely to happen soon unless we can find a colorist for it (I'm getting too busy with other work- which is why it's taking me so long to color these for Shawn). Any takers?
