Dog the Spot: Good Ol' Dog the Spot

It had to be done. There comes a time when you have to pay homage to your influences. Charles Schulz had a fantastic influence on me as I was growing up. Peanuts, and good ol' Charlie Brown, have had quite an influence on so many people.

My first regular comic character, Dopey Dog, owed a great debt to Snoopy. Over time, other influences have played a larger role in shaping my comics, but Peanuts was there at the beginning for me. So, here we have the first Peanuts strip, with Dog the Spot in the role of Charlie Brown.
