Just a Stage: Be Seated

I was in a theatre recently where patrons entered a door on the left for the upper rows and a door on the right for the lower rows, regardless of which side of the theatre they were sitting. It just seemed insane to me, with people having to pass each other at the front of the theatre to get to their seats.
