Author notes
I thought of the idea of how bad home-schooling is, because the parents who do it are often the least qualified, and came up with the notion of home-doctorates, etc. I was trying to work out how one could shoe-horn the idea into a stand-up routine. At lunch time, I was thinking of whatto write for this Dog the Spot strip, when the familial resemblance struck me.
