Just a Stage: Hello, It's Me

I had been strongly considering stopping strips in 2013. On New Year's Eve, however, I thought of something I'd failed to do with Just a Stage. I'd never gotten around to introducing the characters properly, I thought I might try to do that by having them interviewed. I then thought that I should be the interviewer. I then thought that if I was to do that I should draw it on paper. So, here's the start, hand-drawn and lettered on paper. New art tools too. I like the paper. Stopped using the new pencil after one panel. I found that the new pen hates erasers. It has also been years since I drew myself… I don't think I aged up well.
