Hi, sorry for the absence… I've had a hell of a last few weeks… truth to tell, my father passed on the saturday before last. I won't angst on about it here, I have a shrink and very good friends who are kind enough to let me vent such sadness upon them. To make up for this absence, expect a couple of extras tomorrow and Sunday!

Those of you wondering about my other comic, Final Blasphemy. Well, good news and bad. The bad news is that I've decided to call it quits on that comic. I'm sorry to what fans I had, but too much has happened lately… too much of it was going to be tied into certain aspects of my real life (the plan was, amongst other things, to deconstruct that whole "author avatar" thing prevalent in sprite comics and fairly common in fiction in general) for me to want to continue. Plus, to put it simply, it was too damn big. In case you couldn't tell by the numerous dangling plot threads that still hadn't quite converged, I had a lot planned for the thing. A hell of a lot. In great excess of 100 issues (I was currently at 13). When I conceived of the thing back in high school, this didn't intimidate me, but, well, age has wizened me somewhat. I simply don't have the time or inclination to make something that massive. I love the comic to death and still catch myself plotting for it, but I know I can't possibly write is as originally conceived.

That said, I love the comic simply too much to let it fade away in peace. I AM going to finish it in the next issue. It will probably come off as a bit abrupt, but there simply isn't a choice given my intentions. I don't want to give away too much, but expect an unexpected plot convergence or two… and maybe to be a bit confused by the end. It'll likely be what the good people at TV Tropes like to call a "Gainax Ending." Again, pretty hard to avoid.

I can't say when it'll be finished, as at the moment I'm very busy with school work, dealing with grief, doing a new, but short-term job, and looking for a long-term job, but I'll say maybe late summer. Sometime in mid-to-late August.

So… whatever fans I may have, ready yourselves for my grand finale: Final Blasphemy: Deconstructed/Demolished!
