Me, I only use the word "interesting" when I mean that something has my interest. However, the rest of the world seems to use it as a way of saying "This is horrible, but I'm just too damn polite to say it, so this isn't saying it's GOOD, but it isn't saying something BAD either!"

Or at least, that seems to be how people interpret it when I say something is interesting…
