Okay, if I haven't said it before, I insist upon saying it now. Read Captain SNES. It is one of the best webcomics out there.
Since this is a small-time webcomic and not a massive, obvious media entity like where most of the "Infinity" versions of characters are inspired, I feel compelled to point it out.
