Hey All!
Today's comic is more of an attack on the media than Susan Boyle… I don't really get all the attention she is getting. Granted, she is a great singer and deserves to be recognized for her talents… But, how those talents came to be recognized and popularized seem kind of odd to me. The whole "don't judge a book by it's cover" personified is nice and all… But if this is the kind of "story" that captures the poeple's attention and garners their interest… well then, we are screwed when comes to informing people about the need for social and political reform… It's a sad state of affairs when an ugly duckling with an angelic voice trumps ethnic cleansing in the news… That's just my take on that!
