And so Cian stumbles off. At this rate, never to be seen again (Seriously, it's a while until he shows up again!)
One thing I hated about this page, is that the reference renders I took kind of didn't turn out too well. This really threw me off, because one panel in particular had really weird distortion, and I didn't realise what was wrong until the page was nearly done! Guess that's a problem with sticking a little too close to the references! (Can't believe I didn't notice it in the sketching or inking phases!)
Also, ended up using most of the render for the first panel background (And a little bit of the second) in the final thing, since honestly, it saved me trying to get the sky, sand and walls looking right!

And, how did a goblin end up winning?!
Well, I mentioned a few pages back about how there were two characters in an old comic idea that never saw the light of day, she's pretty much supposed to be that character (With a redesign, hair wise at least, since the original was sort of used as a rough basis for Tan!) She did show up on a couple of other pages too (Like kicking Bolk's butt into a wall, for example!) She was supposed the offspring of a goblin and a succubus (Who, were supposed to be kind of a warrior race, in addittion to the, uh… usual stuff). This resulted in a goblin with very powerful legs (They got toned down a bit here!). Personality wise, she was kind of Goku-like to be honest, and as mentioned before, she was friends with the doctor we saw a while back. The whole thing was all pretty weird really, and yet, I kind of want to go back and see if I can salvage those ideas! I mean, hey, they now both exist in universe, (Technically!)
But, yeah, if anyone was going to win, why not a stand in for an old character!
