I had a LOT of fun playing around with facial expressions. Seeing as I had my two girls out there who have the same design of eyes, it is really hard to create difference in their facial expressions, so I tried hard on this one and I think it turned out pretty good.

I always find it very weird to have the two in the same comic at the same time, too. It's about as weird as doing those future Erin strips. Sometimes drawing Rachel and Erin feels like drawing the same character, despite obvious differences. Since Erin's personality and ego seem much larger than Rachel's, it often seems like Erin was the original character with squinty eyes, but of course that's not true.
