Despite the fact that Erin is the daughter of the mayor, she isn't very popular. Outside of the election, the only one that ever hears her talk is Kim and occasionally the teacher. It's not that they don't like her. It's that she doesn't like them and typically Cynthia spends her time trying to harass Erin and that's why Erin doesn't like her.
